Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard

Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard is an exciting story of the two months of Abraham Lincoln’s life.  It is written in a style moves the story along and makes the reader engaged in the narrative of all the things that happened leading up to Lincoln’s assassination.  An example of that can be found in the first sentence: “The man with 6 weeks to live is anxious.”  Killing Lincoln is not a scholarly book, but it’s a book that people who don’t ordinarily read history books would read.  I recommend it.tlccontent
